Dress Code

The Carwash dress code is optional, you can go mad but you don’t have to! For those in true Carwash spirit (and there are many!) dress to excess as your favourite music or style icon from the 70s and 80s and turn the Carwash dance floor into your personal catwalk.

For day glo inspirations see our party people photos and our Pinterest page below for funky style tips.

Mix and match the high street with car boot finds, hire from a costume shop or make it yourself. Come in your own style, clash the decades or create something fabulously absurd.

Express yourself in electric colours, jump to the beat in sequin jumpsuits, shake your body in neon gym wear, blame it on the boogie in Miami Vice suits, or use it up and wear it out in high tops and gold rope chains.

Come as

Michael Jackson • Madonna • Spice Girls • Kids from FAME • Guns & Roses • Rubiks Cube • Saturday Night Fever • Baywatch • A-team • YMCA • Ghostbusters • Shell suits • Neons • Super Mario • Wonder Woman • Playboy Bunnies • Charlie’s Angels • 118 118 • Super Heroes • Cops • Mobster • Hustler • Sailor • Formula 1 Pit Lane Girls • Daisy Duke • Flower Power • Superfly Guy

And for more costume ideas look through our party people photos, rent and buy section and Pinterest page for dress up tips. (Caps, trainers or plimsols are acceptable as part of a retro or disco outfit, otherwise not considered appropriate head/footwear.)
